Jini Service Container Specification

The goal of Jini™ Service Container (JSC) Specification is to standardize the way Jini™ services are being developed and deployed, by providing a common programming model.

Currently the JSC API v0.1 is available as well as the weekly builds for the main branch. Work on a more detailed specification, besides the current javadoc, describing the requirements for a JSC compliant container will start as soon the 'reference' implementation Seven becomes conceptual stable, for this we need input of the Jini Community.

Weekly builds

At 05:00 UTC on Monday a weekly build takes place for the main branch that reflects changes that might get into the v1.0 release scheduled for Q3-Q4 2008 that will be based on J2SE 5.0. Only in case modifications have been encountered since the last build the outcome of this build will be available through this website:
